Christie Property has been involved with commercial property matters since 1980. As a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Nicholas Christie (Principal) says,

"...each client should be offered a professional and expert service; this can only be achieved by years of experience and knowledge of the market."

In July 1980, Nicholas was employed by a London based private investment company, P.S. Estates, to assist the director in the day-to-day management of the company’s property investment portfolio.

In September 1982 Nicholas moved to the London practice of Moss Kaye & Roy Frank predominantly involved with commercial agency work, specialising in retail agency. In September 1988 his services were requested by the Investment and Professional department of Elliott Son & Boyton in Birmingham.

In September 1992, following the merger of Elliott Son & Boyton and Chesterton, Nicholas decided to establish his own practice, trading under the name of Christie Property Consultants, based in North London.

Christie Property represents a wide variety of landlords nationally encompassing areas such as the West Midlands, Buckinghamshire, Yorkshire and London. Nicholas says,

"...Christie Property is a multi-disciplined practice that focuses on management and professional matters associated with the UK property market."
